IDWIP 2026 Tree-Planting Tracker & Indigenous Voice Archive
An AI-powered tree-planting tracker combined with an Indigenous Voice Archive. As trees are planted by field workers in indigenous communities across Nigeria, community Elders record oral history, botanical knowledge, and native songs in their own mother tongues. Powered by Google Gemini AI, recordings are transcribed, translated into English, and anchored to individual trees, each accessible via a public QR-code profile page.

250 Trees Total: 10 ceremonial trees planted during the festival at UN House, plus 240 trees planted across 12 FCT secondary schools as part of the youth environmental stewardship rollout.
Children's Day Unity in Diversity Extravaganza 2026 — 4th Edition
Theme: “Children's Role in National Development — Hope of the Nation”
Hosted at El-Amin International School, Maitama, the 4th edition brought together students, educators, civic leaders, and diplomats for an impactful edu-tainment celebration. The event highlighted the vital role of young Nigerians in environmental conservation, leadership, cultural preservation, and national unity.
Activities included interactive workshops on diplomacy, youth entrepreneurship, leadership development, safety education, and a vibrant cultural parade featuring traditional attire from all regions of Nigeria.
